Fight

Annabeth's POV

That night, my bad dream became worse and worse. Not only was MY Percy having sex with another woman, but I also saw him kneel and bow down to Kronos. I so wanted to run to Kronos and chop him up myself and slap Percy's face so hard that it would stay red for a century, in the hope that my slap would wake him up and return to my side once again. If only it was that easy. I woke up in the middle of the night, with tears in my eyes; I desperately wanted to think about that dream as just symbols, or signs. I prayed to every God I know for that awful dream to just stay what it is, an awful dream. I placed Percy's wedding ring in my camp necklace, so it would stay close to my heart. "I WILL get him back, and no one can stop me from getting MY HUSBAND back!" I thought to myself defiantly. With that thought I went outside and saw Rachel sleeping right next to the campfire. I put a blanket around her and put on my Yankee's cap. I became invisible and I silently crept through the sleeping army guarding the entrance to the mountain. I went inside Kronos' hide-out and looked for his chamber. It may sound stupid coming from a child of Athena, but I absolutely have NO plan whatsoever, I just wanted to find Kronos,  chop him into a billion pieces, and to find my husband and get him back on our side, on MY side. I was amazed by what I saw, i could understand why Percy would turn his back on us, this place was simply amazing. It had everything you needed and a lot more. I contemplated joining Kronos too but quickly shook the thought of my head. "All I want is Percy." I said to myself. I searched around for hours, but strangely I didn't feel hot like the last time I was in here, the time when I first kissed Percy on the lips. Remembering that scene made me even more eager to look for him and Kronos. I found a golden double door, I had no doubt the room behind it belonged to Kronos, I mean, who else would have a golden double door in this place? I silently opened the door and found the Titan Lord motionless in a large bed. I got up to it slowly and drew out my dagger, hoping to slice him up while he sleeps, but as I got close enough to do harm, he suddenly opened his eyes looked at me with wickedness.
"Welcome Mrs. Jackson." he taunted me "or should I say Ex-Mrs. Jackson." he laughed with pure evil in his tone.
"Give me back my husband!" I shouted, ignoring the way he called me Percy's Ex.
"You do not realize foolish half-blood that your Percy is already dead, he has been replaced with my new general, and my co-reagent!" Kronos said, smugness mixing with evil in his voice.
"MY husband would never join you!" I tried to counter, but it sounded like I was explaining it to myself. Kronos just laughed with even more vileness in his voice.
"Your wrong you stupid daughter of Athena! He has already become my underling, my second-in-command." I cringed at the thought. I was sure he was just bluffing, trying to get me down and strike.
"You still don't believe me? Fine." He snapped his fingers and in came two silhouettes, one of a man and one of a woman.
"I would like you to meet my new general, PERSEUS JACKSON!" He said triumphantly. I couldn't believe what I saw, it was Percy, but something about him seems different, his eyes were clouded, like he couldn't see anything.
"PERCY!, PERCY!, PLEASE WAKE UP! IT'S ME, ANNABETH, PLEASE, I LOVE YOU!" I tried to reach him, tears now forming in my eyes. Percy did the complete opposite of the thing I wanted him to do. He faced the girl beside him and kissed her like there was no tomorrow. I could see their tongues intertwining. This is torture, I collapsed on my knees as they continued to kiss; this is worse than being punched, kicked, being slashed with a sword in my stomach. I could feel the pain from within threatening to come out. I knew that if did come out, I would lose, I would lose the war, but worst of all. I would lose my soul-mate.
"Percy, please stop, your breaking my heart." I begged him weakly, my tears becoming full on sobs. Kronos was enjoying himself in watching my grief.
"YOU BASTARD! WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY PERCY!?" I shouted at the titan, my anger and grief becoming my two most prominent emotions.
"Perseus, could you please get rid of this piece of trash, get her out of my fortress." Kronos commanded and Percy stopped kissing the girl and obeyed. I recognized the girl and knew who it was. It was Calypso. I threw death glares at her but she just looked smug, like she just won the lottery.
"BITCH!" I shouted at her. I saw Percy uncap riptide and quickly swung at me. I parried his blow. It didn't seem like it was Percy who was fighting; Percy would be more skilled and better trained than this. I got a slash in and it hit is torso drawing blood (AN: remember my previous chapter? when he lost his invulnerability?). I got confident that I could beat him, but he became more skilled. A few more cuts from my dagger and he was really skilled, every time I hurt him he just keeps getting better and better, until I was forced on the defensive.
"Percy, please, go back to the way you were before; go back to becoming my loving seaweed brain." I pleaded with him exhausted. He nearly cut my neck but thank the Gods I parried in time. With one swing of his sword, the collar of my shirt got ripped off leaving my neck and my camp necklace exposed. I dropped down to the ground, dead tired. I managed to smile at the expression "It's certainly appropriate." I thought to myself as Percy pointed the tip of his sword to my throat.
"I love you." I said finally, awaiting for him to deliver the death blow.
